Seven Arizona Western Matadors Volleyball players have signed to continue their academic and volleyball careers at the next level.
Arizona Western Lady Matadors Volleyball sophomores Evelyn Trivino and Amanda Juliao were both named to NJCAA DI Volleyball teams after leading the Lady Matadors to a Region I title this past fall.

Amanda Juliao and Ma’o Lauhingoa combined for 33 kills to help Arizona Western Lady Matadors’ Volleyball (7-2, 2-0) to a 3-2 win over Chandler-Gilbert (3-2, 1-1) in ACCAC play on Wednesday night at the Coyote Center.

Arizona Western Volleyball (4-0) finished off a perfect weekend in Kansas, picking up two more wins in the Scooter’s Coffee Invitational, beating Frank Phillips (1-2) 3-2 in the first game of the day before taking down Ranger (2-2) in straight sets to finish the day.
Sophomore Setter Evelyn Trivino recorded 38 assists to help Arizona Western Volleyball (1-0) back from a 1-0 deficit to beat Cisco (0-1) 3-1 in the season opener at the Scooter’s Coffee Invitational in Garden City, Kan.
