Trivino and Juliao earn All-Conference and All-Region honors

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Volleyball sophomores Evelyn Trivino and Amanda Juliao were both named All-ACCAC and All-Region I DI after leading the Lady Matadors to a second-place finish in the ACCAC.

Trivino was named First Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region I DI thanks to a season in which she tallied 875 assists, averaging 8.66 assists per set. Trivino also recorded 192 digs and set a career-high with 22 total blocks.

Juliao earned Second Team All-ACCAC and First Team All-Region I DI honors after leading the conference in kills with 320 and averaged 2.96 kills per set. Juliao set a career-high with 203 digs and had 14 service aces.

The Lady Matadors host Eastern Arizona in the Region I final on Wednesday, November 1 at 7:00 pm at the House Gymnasium. Tickets are $5.00 and passes are not accepted for postseason matches.
