Arizona Western Volleyball Moves Five Student-Athletes Forward—On and Off the Court
Arizona Western Volleyball Sends Five Sophomores to Next Level, One Staying Local for Nursing Path
YUMA, Ariz. - The Arizona Western Volleyball program wraps up the 2025-26 season with five sophomores sharing their future plans both on and off the volleyball court. Four players will continue their careers at four-year schools and one will stay in Yuma to pursue a nursing career.
Players moving on include Nehir Erimez who is joining Norfolk University (NCAA-DI), Andrea Krgovic is heading to Chowan University (NCAA-DII), Joyce Crosby will continue her volleyball career at Southeastern University (NAIA) followed by Sevval Aslan who recently found a new home at Wayland Baptist University (NAIA). Esther Asiedu will stay on the Arizona Western campus to pursue a career in Nursing.
"One of my proudest achievements as a coach is guiding sophomores in our program to continue their academic and athletic careers at the four-year level," Arizona Western head volleyball coach Lorayne Chandler said. "It reflects our commitment to developing student-athletes and preparing them for success beyond our program."
