Before AWC: Attended Canutillo High School, class of 2024...Was the Defensive Player of the Year and First Team All-District...Also selected to play in the 2024 Greater City of El Paso Softball Senior All-Star game
Personal: Daughter of Raul Piñon, sibling to Natalie and Naomi Piñon, and Precious Savage. Majoring in Applied Science, pursuing a career as a Radiologist.

2025 Season:
Alissa collected her first collegiate base hit on January 24th, 2025, against North Idaho College. She had her first multi-hit game vs El Paso Community College on February 7th, 2025, driving in 2 runs. She also drove in 2 runs on March 14th vs. College of Southern Nevada. Piñon played in 43 games for the Lady Matadors, collecting multiple hits in 6 of those contests. Alissa finished her freshman season batting .352, 14 RBI, 22 runs, 55 assists, and 5 stolen bases. She helped lead the Lady Matadors to the 2025 DI NJCAA Softball World Series and played in both Arizona Western games, collecting a base hit vs. Grayson College on May 20th, 2025.
