2024-25: Played in 31 games for Arizona Western and started 29 as a freshman. Averaged 14.4 points per game with a field goal percentage of 44%. Scored a collegiate career high 30 points on January 8th, 2025, in 91-70 win over Central Arizona. Scored in double figures in 27 of the 31 games played. Reached seven rebounds in a game three times during the season. Has a career 82.5% rate from the free throw line while at Arizona Western College. 

BEFORE AWC: Prepped at Tri-City Prep in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada...Was named honorable mention of the DME Academy Beach and Ball Classic in 2022. While in high school, averaged 26 points per game, 8 assists per game and 4 steals per game. Matt also tallied four 40-point games as a senior in high school. Was an All-Canadian nominee. Matt chose Arizona Western because of the connection he built with the coaching staff. Matt is majoring in psychology because he is interested in how people think. He enjoys listening to music, playing basketball and his favorite food is rice and chicken prepared by his mother.
