YUMA, Ariz--- The Arizona Western College Matadors (9-4-2 overall, 4-3-2 ACCAC) triumphed over the Paradise Valley Community College Pumas (5-6-1 overall, 2-5-1 ACCAC) with a 2-0 win on Tuesday night at Matador Soccer Field.
Diana Sanchez netted the only two goals of the game, the first with an assist by Francisca Castello in the 23rd minute, and the second with an assist by Jaeda Centeno in the 70th minute.
The Lady Mats attempted a total of 11 shots on goal for the night, while the Pumas attempted three shots.
The Matadors will be hitting the road for their last game of the regular season where they will be taking on Pima Community College at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday at Kino Sports Complex in Tucson.
