Lady Matadors fall to Salt Lake

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah--- The Arizona Western College Women’s Soccer team (11-5-2 overall, 5-3-2 ACCAC) lost in overtime during a close District I Championship game against the Salt Lake Community College Bruins on Saturday.
Now the Lady Matadors will wait until Monday to see if they earn an at-large bid by the NJCAA to compete in the National Championship tournament.

The victory advances the Lady Mats to the upcoming district game next Saturday, Nov. 6, against the winner of the Region 18 game. The opponent, location, and time for this match are all to be determined.

AWC secures spot in region final with victory over Pima

TUCSON, Ariz--- The Arizona Western College Matadors (10-4-2 overall, 5-3-2 ACCAC) earned their place in the ACCAC Division I Region Final on Saturday night with a 3-1 win against Pima Community College (12-4 overall, 7-3 ACCAC).
The Lady Mats got on the board first with a goal in the 38th minute made by Jaeda Centeno, assisted by Diana Sanchez.
