Two Volleyball players honored with conference and region recognitions
YUMA, Arizona--- The Arizona Western College Matador Volleyball team (16-7 overall, 10-3 ACCAC) will host an upcoming NJCAA Region I Playoff game versus Yavapai (14-12 overall, 8-5 ACCAC) at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 3, at the House.
The match will be broadcast on AWC TV and livestreamed on azwestern.edu/live. Tickets will be $5 at the door and $3 for students. No passes will be accepted.
Ahead of next week’s game, two Lady Mats were recently recognized with all-conference and all-region awards. Outside hitter Anny Montaño was named to the ACCAC All-Conference First Team as well as the NJCAA District I Region I All-Region Team. Setter Natalia Ślażyńska was named to the ACCAC All-Conference Second Team as well as the NJCAA District I Region I All-Region Team.
