Registration now open for Chapman Yuma Volleyball Camp

YUMA, Ariz. - Registration is now open for the 2026Chapman Yuma Volleyball Camp at Arizona Western College. The camp is for boys and girls ages 8 - 14 and will take place on Saturday, August 1st, 2026, in "The House" Gymnasium. 

"For the past 11 years, I've had the privilege of helping young athletes learn and grow through volleyball," Arizona Western head volleyball coach Lorayne Chandler said. "At our clinic, kids will focus on basic skills like passing, serving, setting, hitting, movement, and communication."

The camp is one day only and starts at 9:00 a.m. and lasts until 4:00 p.m. with lunch also provided. Coach Chandler shares what else the camp will provide for those who sign up.

"I believe volleyball is important because it teaches confidence, teamwork, discipline, and resilience both on and off the court," Chandler said. "My goal is for every camper to leave with stronger skills, new friendships, and a greater love for the game."
