Lady Matadors complete regular season sweep over Yavapai

YUMA, Ariz. - On Saturday afternoon, the #20 ranked Arizona Western Volleyball team defeated conference rival Yavapai in straight sets (25-10, 27-25, 25-15) to improve to 10-3 on the season and 4-1 in ACCAC play. With the win, the Lady Matadors complete the regular season sweep over the Roughriders. The focus now turns to a major road trip for Arizona Western as they travel to Eastern Arizona next Friday and Saturday for a meeting with the conference leader. In the first meeting between the two ACCAC DI leaders, Eastern Arizona defeated Arizona Western in five sets.
