Matadors Volleyball opens postseason play at home on Monday
The Arizona Western Matadors Volleyball team opens postseason play at the No. 1 seed in the Region I DI Volleyball tournament, beginning play on Monday, November 4, hosting the No. 4 seed Yavapai in the Region I semifinals at the House Gymnasium at 7:00 pm.
YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Western Matadors Volleyball team opens postseason play at the No. 1 seed in the Region I DI Volleyball tournament, beginning play on Monday, November 4, hosting the No. 4 seed Yavapai in the Region I semifinals at the House Gymnasium at 7:00 pm.
The Matadors closed the regular season by winning its final three matches, winning the conference regular season title, and securing home-court advantage throughout the Region I DI Volleyball playoffs.
Arizona Western is looking for its second straight Region I title and another trip to the Rocky Mountain District final.
The Matadors swept the regular season series with the Roughriders, beating Yavapai 3-0 in the lone home match this season before beating the Roughriders 3-1 in two matches up in Prescott.
Tickets are $10.00 for adults and $7.00 for seniors. Passes will not be honored for postseason games.
