Trivino's double-double earns her Chapman Student-Athlete of the Week honor

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Volleyball sophomore Evelyn Trivino was named Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week after recording a double-double in the Lady Matadors' lone match last week.

Trivino had 23 assists and 13 digs in the Lady Matadors' 3-0 loss to No. 2 ranked Scottsdale last week. The double-double was Trivino's eighth double-double of the season and her third consecutive double-double.

The setter from Colombia leads the Lady Matadors with 820 assists this season and set a career-high with 50 back on August 30 against Chandler-Gilbert.
