Trivino named ACCAC DI Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Volleyball sophomore Setter Evelyn Trivino was named the ACCAC DI Offensive Player of the Week after leading the Lady Matadors to a pair of conference wins.

Trivino tallied 84 assists in 11 sets played last week, helping the Lady Matadors to a pair of wins in a three-match week. Trivino started the week with 20 assists in a 3-0 win over Pima before recording 38 in a 3-2 loss to Glendale.

The sophomore from Colombia finished the week with 26 assists in a 3-0 win over Yavapai on Friday. Trivino also tallied three service aces, including two in the 3-2 loss to Glendale.

This week's honor is the second ACCAC Player of the Week honor for Trivino this season.
