Final NJCAA polls find Matador soccer teams in top 10
The women's soccer team hold the #2 ranking and the men finish #6
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - The final NJCAA regular season polls have both Arizona Western College soccer teams firmly cemented in the top 10. The Arizona Western women's soccer team never strayed from their #2 ranking which they were tabbed with in the NJCAA preseason poll on August 11th, 2025. The Lady Matadors have held the spot the entire regular season. What's more, Arizona Western has not been out of the NJCAA top five since the week three rankings were released on September 16th, 2024. The Matador men's soccer team end the regular season rankings right where they started. The Matadors came into the 2025 season ranked #6 in the pre-season polls. Arizona Western dipped to #10 in the week two NJCAA rankings before climbing back to #6 overall this week. Arizona Western also ended the 2024 regular season ranked #6. With Saturday's win over Southern Nevada, the Lady Matadors wrapped up the regular season ACCAC title for the fourth straight season. Meanwhile, the men's soccer team remains tied at the top of the ACCAC standings with Mohave College. Both teams are undefeated in conference play and both teams are ranked in the NJCAA top 20 with Mohave College ranked #16. The conference title will come down to this week with both Arizona Western soccer team's traveling to Mohave College this Tuesday before hosting the Big Horns in the regular season and home finale on Friday, October 24th. Friday is also "Sophomore Night" for both Arizona Western teams.
