CHARLOTTE, N.C. - In the newly released Week 5 NJCAA rankings, the Arizona Western Women's soccer team remains at #2 in the country. The Lady Matadors have never moved from the spot since the preseason polls were released on August 11th. Daytona State, the team Arizona Western lost to in the 2024 National Championship game, is the #1 ranked team in the country and has held the top spot all season. The Arizona Western Men's soccer team hangs on to the #8 ranking for the second week in a row. The Matadors this season has been at high at #6 and as low at #10 in the national polls. After cracking the top 20 two weeks ago and holding the #20 spot for 14 days, the Arizona Western volleyball team fall out of the top 20 but still received votes.
