Lady Matadors score early and often, bounce Southern Nevada on the road

LAS VEGAS, Nev. - The #2 ranked Arizona Western Women's Soccer team score three goals in the first five minutes and powered past ACCAC rival College of Southern Nevada 8-0 on Tuesday evening. Jaylei Miller scored her first goal of the season at the two-minute mark, assisted by Asa Yamazaki. Kanon Ozaki added the second goal of the game three minutes in followed by Linka Ono's goal at the five-minute mark. In all, the Lady Matadors had seven different players score a goal, led by Kanon Ozaki's two goals and two assists. Ozaki leads the Lady Matadors with seven goals on the season. Linka Ono finished with a goal and two assists and Asa Yamazaki notched three assists. Alison Peralta collected her first goal of the season right before halftime, assisted by Fernanda Quiroz. With the win, Arizona Western improves to 7-0 on the season and 4-0 in ACCAC play. The Lady Matadors will be back in action this Saturday, when they return home to Matador Field for a conference match versus Mohave College. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
