YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Soccer players Dianna Taddei and Iyan Hernandez swept the weekly ACCAC DI Women's Soccer awards after picking up a pair of road wins over Yavapai and Eastern Arizona.

Taddei earned ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Player of the Week honors thanks to a two-goal game in the Matadors' win over No. 16 ranked Eastern Arizona on Saturday. Taddei opened the scoring for the Matadors with the would-be game-winning goal.

Hernandez played 160 minutes last week without allowing a goal. The freshman goalkeeper was named the ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week after making nine saves in a pair of Matadors' wins.

This week marks the second straight week the Matadors have been represented on the ACCAC Women's Soccer Players of the Week with Tindra Biedermann winning the ACCAC DI Women's Soccer Goalkeeper of the Week honor last week.
