YUMA, Ariz. – The No. 7 ranked Arizona Western Matadors Women's Soccer team picked up a 1-0 win in its first road game of the season, beating Mt. San Antonio College on Tuesday night in Walnut, Calif.

The Matadors scored the only goal of the game in the 18^th minute when Diana Taddei scored her third goal of the season, giving the Matadors a 1-0 lead.

Tindra Biedermann played all 90 minutes and pushed her goalless streak to start the season to 150 minutes, keeping a clean sheet in the win.

The Matadors have yet to allow a goal this season, posting back-to-back shutouts to open the season.

The Matadors are back in action on Saturday September 7, opening conference play against Community Christian at Matador Soccer Field at 7:00 pm. Tickets are $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for seniors while Arizona Western College students get in free with their AWC ID.
