Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Soccer sophomore Rikako Hayami has signed a National Letter of Intent to continue her career at the University of Arizona after playing in 32 career games with the Lady Matadors.

This past season, Hayami was named an NJCAA Second Team All-American, scoring four goals and recording an assist while being part of a backline that tallied 13 shutouts, the third most in the nation.

Hayami was part of a team that reached the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championships for the second time in program history, leading the Lady Matadors to the semifinals for the first time in the program's history this past fall.

The Arizona Wildcats went 6-8-5 this past season and finished the year with back-to-back wins over Utah and Arizona State.
