YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Women's Basketball freshman Naomy Zonzon-Huyghe was named the ACCAC DI Women's Basketball Player of the Week after helping the Matadors wrap up the regular season with a pair of wins last week.

Zonzon-Huyghe scored 22 points on 6-for-11 shooting in the Matadors' 67-65 win at Central Arizona to open the week before scoring 16 points in the season finale.

The guard had nine rebounds in the win over the Vaqueras and seven boards in the win in North Las Vegas.

Zonzon-Huyghe has scored in double figures in seven consecutive games and is averaging 16.2 points per game this season.
