YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball player Alliance Ndiba was named the Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week after averaging 19 points per game and 14.5 rebounds per contest in the Lady Matadors' sweep of Yavapai.

Ndiba scored 19 points on 9-for-16 shooting while grabbing 14 rebounds in the Lady Matadors' 69-56 win over Yavapai on Friday before scoring 19 points again on Saturday while hauling in 15 rebounds in a 64-46 win.

The sophomore has recorded five consecutive double-doubles and is 8-for-10 from the free throw line over the last two games.
