YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Basketball sophomore Alynna Palacios was named the Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week after helping the Lady Matadors win their 11^th consecutive game.

Palacios scored eight points and grabbed a career-high 16 rebounds in the Lady Matadors 62-43 win over Pima on Saturday afternoon. Palacios played 35 minutes in the win and grabbed double-digit rebounds for the third time this season.

In the last two games combined, Palacios has grabbed 30 rebounds, including 13 offensive rebounds, and is averaging 12.3 points per game in the last three games.
