YUMA, Ariz. – The Arizona Western Matadors Softball team swept the weekly ACCAC DI Softball awards this week as Krisilyn Corral was named the ACCAC DI Softball Pitcher of the Week and Larissa Rueda earned ACCAC DI Softball Player of the Week honors.

Corral appeared in both Matadors' wins last weekend at Eastern Arizona, tossing 13 innings and striking out three batters to earn a pair of wins. Corral held the Gila Monsters to just two runs in the series finale, helping the Matadors to a 7-2 win.

Larissa Rueda batted .500 in four games in Thatcher, Ariz., to help the Matadors earn a four-game series split with Eastern Arizona. Reuda smacked a home run and drove in three runs and scored a pair of runs for the Matadors.

Reuda earned her first conference player of the week award, while Corral was named an ACCAC Player of the Week for the third time this season.
