YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Softball is hosting the annual Chapman Automotive Great Western Shootout this upcoming weekend at the Pacific Avenue Athletic Complex, Thursday, January 30-Saturday, February 1.

The Matadors will be joined by 10 teams from the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference and the Scenic West Athletic Conference for the three-day event.

Arizona Western opens play on Thursday, January 30, taking on Scottsdale at Noon on Field 1 at the PAAC and will take on Snow College on Friday, January 31, at 10:00 am before finishing play on Saturday, February 1, hosting North Idaho at 1:15 pm on Field 1.

Day passes for the Chapman Automotive Great Western Shootout are at the gate and cost $8.00 for adults and $6.00 for seniors and kids under 12. Tickets can be purchased using cash, check, or Venmo.
