YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western College Lady Matadors Softball sophomore Jayleen Espinoza was named the Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week after helping the Lady Matadors to four wins last week.

Espinoza went 5-for-10 with a double and five runs batted in while walking twice in sweeps against Lake Region State and Glendale.

The outfielder went 3-for-4 with three runs batted in, in the Lady Matadors' 7-6 win over Glendale after starting the week with a two-RBI game against Lake Region State.
