YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Lady Matadors' Softball freshman Mollie Forbes was named the Chapman Automotive Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of January 22-28.  

Forbes has opened the season on a five-game hitting streak, going 7-for-14 in the first five games of the season, and 4-for-5 in the last two games.

The Tucson, Ariz. native hit three home runs over the weekend, homering twice against Utah State Eastern on Saturday, January 28.
