Men's Soccer earns No. 1 seed in 2023 NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Championship

GLENDALE, Ariz. – The No. 1 ranked Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer team received the No. 1 overall seed in the 2023 NJCAA DI Men's Soccer Championships, opening play November 12, in Wichita, Kan.  

For the third consecutive season, the Matadors are playing in the national tournament and for the first time in program history will be the No. 1 overall seed. Arizona Western will open tournament play in Pool A, joined by both LSU-Eunice and Casper.

The Matadors are coming off back-to-back trips to the NJCAA DI Men's Soccer National Championship Game and will open play at 9:00 a.m. MST on Sunday, November 12 against the No. 12 seed Casper before a day off on Monday. Arizona Western finishes pool play on Tuesday, November 14 taking on the No. 8 seed LSU-Eunice at 9:00 a.m. MST.
