Women's Soccer seeded 6th in NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championships
GLENDALE, Ariz. – The No. 10 ranked Arizona Western Lady Matadors Women's Soccer team earned the No. 6 overall seed in the 2023 NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championships starting November 12 in Wichita, Kan.
For the second time in program history, the Lady Matadors have qualified for the NJCAA DI Women's Soccer Championships and received the highest seed in program history, earning the No. 6 overall seed in Pool C.
The Lady Matadors finished the season with 15 wins, posting a 15-1 record winning the ACCAC title, Region I championship, and winning the West District final. Joining the Lady Matadors in Pool C is the No. 3 seed Monroe Community College and the No. 10 seeded Navarro.
The Lady Matadors will open tournament play on Monday, November 13, taking on the No. 10-seeded Navarro at 2:00 p.m. MST before finishing pool play on Tuesday, November 14, playing the No. 3-seeded Monroe at 2:00 pm MST.
