YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Men's Soccer forward Terry Makedika was named the ACCAC DI Men's Soccer Player of the Week after scoring a pair of game-winning goals to lead the Matadors to two wins last week.

Makedika scored the game's lone goal in a 1-0 over Yavapai in Prescott on Tuesday night. Makedika scored on a header in the second half and the Matadors were able to hold off the Roughriders despite playing with 10 men.

The sophomore from Paris, France scored two goals in a 3-0 win over Scottsdale on Saturday, both coming in the second half.

Makedika becomes the third Matador to receive the ACCAC DI Men's Soccer Player of the Week honor this season.
