YUMA, Ariz. - The Arizona Western Men's Basketball team is hosting an event to end the year and get your kids out of the house. The two-day Chapman AWC Winter Basketball Camp takes place later this month on December 29th & 30th. The camp is for kids six to 16. Parents can register here.

"It's a great way to get your kids out of the house and out doing some physical activity over the course of winter break," Arizona Western Men's Basketball Head Coach Kyle Isaacs said. "They'll work with myself and the men's basketball coaching staff, a few of our student athletes that are from Yuma and some local Yuma High School coaches."

 Registration for the two-day camp is just $65 until December 18th. After that, registration is $75 the day of camp. Campers will learn footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense and rebounding. 

 "Our summer basketball program has been great," Isaacs said. "We've held that for the past 10 plus years. The winter camp has some smaller numbers, so, it's a great way to have more individual time for your child. We'll get them tired, so they'll take a nap in the afternoon.
