Yuma, AZ (December 4, 2024) – The Arizona Western College Men's Basketball team is kicking off the new year by hosting the 2025 Chapman Automotive Winter Basketball Camp for students to learn basketball fundamentals. 

K-12 boys and girls are invited to attend the two-day camp on January 2-3, 2025 and learn footwork, ball handling, shooting form, defense, and rebounding from the Matador coaching staff. 

Cost for the camp is $65 if students pre-register by December 19. Online pre-registration forms can be found at this link, and payment can be made by calling (928) 317-7666 or at the AWC Cashier's Desk, which accepts cash, check, and credit, in the 3C Building of the Yuma Campus. Payment must be received by 5 p.m. on December 19 to secure the pre-registration price. A campus map can be found here.  

Campers can also register at the door on the first day of camp for $75 (cash/check). 

The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, and Friday, Jan. 3 in the Gymnasium of the AWC Yuma Campus, 2020 S. Ave. 8E. 

Participants should wear basketball attire (T-shirt, athletic shorts, and tennis/basketball shoes). All campers will receive a T-shirt.
