YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors' Men's saw three players earn All-ACCAC and All-Region honors on Tuesday with two Matadors earning first-team recognition.

Sophomore guard AJ Marmolejos earned first-team All-ACCAC and first-team All-Region I honors to go along with his ACCAC DI Player of the Year award after finishing second in the conference in scoring with 23.0 points per game. The guard from San Diego, Calif., played in 29 games, making 28 starts in his second season at Arizona Western, scoring 666 points this season, shooting 38.2 percent from three. Marmolejos scored a career-high 35 points at Cochise on December, 13.

Freshman guard Jannoy Thomas also earned first-team All-ACCAC and first-team All-Region I honors thanks to a freshman year in which he averaged 11.0 points per game and 4.0 assists per game in his first season at Arizona Western. Thomas scored a season-high 26 points in a win over Community Christian. Thomas earned ACCAC Player of the Week honors for the week of February 4-10.

Freshman forward Edwin Suarez was named second-team All-ACCAC, finishing second in the league in rebounding with 251, averaging 9.0 rebounds per game and 8.9 points per game. Suarez hauled in a season-high 20 rebounds in a win at Southern Nevada back in November.
