The Arizona Western baseball team checks in at No. 19 in the NJCAA DI Week 8 rankings. The Matadors slide one spot from No. 18 in the previous poll. Arizona Western took two of three on the road versus Eastern Arizona over the weekend and find themselves in third place in the ACCAC standings behind No. 17 Cochise College and No. 12 College of Southern Nevada. This week is a busy one for the Matadors with five games on the schedule starting with California Miramar University on Tuesday, followed by Nelson University JV (Phoenix) on Wednesday followed by a weekend series versus ACCAC foe Yavapai on Friday and Saturday. All games are at Walt Kammann Field on the Arizona Western College campus.
