Matador baseball stays in Top 20 in NJCAA DI Week Four Rankings
Matadors hold the number 19 spot for the second week in a row
The Arizona Western baseball team (22-4, 6-3) holds the No. 19 national ranking in the Week Four NJCAA DI polls. It's the second straight week Arizona Western has occupied the No. 19 slot in the rankings. The Matadors finished the previous week 4-1 with wins over Arizona Christian JV and White Rock Tritons (British Columbia, Canada) as well as winning two of three games on the road versus ACCAC rival Yavapai. Joining Arizona Western in the national rankings from the ACCAC are No. 15 Cochise College and No. 18 College of Southern Nevada. The Matadors are back on the road this Tuesday, traveling to the San Diego area for a game versus California Miramar University before returning home for a three-game series with Southern Nevada this Friday and Saturday at Walt Kammann Field.
