YUMA, Ariz. - For the first time since March 21st, 2025, the Arizona Western baseball team is ranked in the NJCAA DI top 25. After being unranked in the preseason poll, Arizona Western put together a 14-game winning streak and find themselves at No. 15 in the newly released week one rankings. It's the highest ranking for Arizona Western baseball since the Matadors climbed to No. 12 in April 2024. It's also the highest ranking for the Matadors under first year head coach Jon Wente. Arizona Western opens ACCAC play this weekend, traveling to No. 22 Cochise College for a three-game series this Friday and Saturday.
