YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Baseball freshman Parker Husu was named the Chapman Automotive Athlete of the Week after leading the Matadors to a series win over No. 10-ranked Cochise last weekend.

Husu had eight hits in 14 at-bats in the three games, smacking a pair of doubles, a triple, and a home run while driving in eight runs for the Matadors.

The outfielder from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, went 5-for-5 with two doubles and a home run while driving in five of the Matadors' nine runs in an 8-2 win on game two of the series.
