YUMA, Ariz. –The Arizona Western Matadors Baseball team moved up one spot in the NJCAA DI Baseball poll, checking in at No. 12 in the second regular season poll released Monday afternoon.

The Matadors have won three straight games and are coming off a weekend sweep of Cochise on Saturday, beating the Apaches 6-3 in game one before finishing off the doubleheader sweep with a 9-4 win in game two. Robert Miranda homered twice in the doubleheader.

Arizona Western will head out on the road on Tuesday, March 5, heading to Chandler to take on Chandler-Gilbert in an ACCAC doubleheader before coming home to host Scottsdale on Saturday, March 9.
