Roberts signs with Georgia Southwestern

YUMA, Ariz. – Arizona Western Matadors Baseball sophomore Noah Roberts has signed to continue his career at Georgia Southwestern State University after playing in 87 career games and helping the Matadors to the Region I finals in 2023.

Roberts batted .286 in two seasons at Arizona Western, driving in 56 runs, including a career-high 31 as a sophomore this past spring. The first baseman from Cambridge, Ontario, Canada, homered four times, bringing his career total to eight.

Roberts collected a career-high four hits in a 12-8 win over Cochise on April 20, driving in a run. This past season, Roberts put together 13 multi-hit games and finished as the team leader in home runs.

Georgia Southwestern State University is an NCAA DII institution located in Americus, Ga., competing in the Peach Belt Conference. The Hurricanes won 34 games this season, winning the Peach Belt Tournament before reaching the NCAA DII Regionals.
