YUMA, Arizona--- The Arizona Western College Matador Volleyball team (16-6 overall, 10-2 ACCAC) is now one step closer to the ACCAC Conference Championship with their 3-1 win against Scottsdale Community College (15-5 overall, 10-4 ACCAC) on Wednesday night at the House.

After dropping the first set (21-25), the team dug in and made some notable comebacks throughout the night to earn three straight set victories (25-22, 25-23, 25-11.)

Matadors earn 17th straight win, conference title

TUCSON, Ariz--- The #6 Arizona Western College Matadors (17-0 overall, 9-0 ACCAC) were successful in maintaining their undefeated record for the entire regular season and earned the title of conference champions with their 1-0 victory over Pima Community College (14-1 overall, 8-1 ACCAC) on Saturday evening.

The game remained scoreless until the second half when Nozomu Kamei netted a goal for the Matadors in the 65th minute, with an assist from Michael Appiah.
