Cowley came out in the second half and scored two quick goals in the 48th and 52nd minute to tie the game a two.
The Matadors put the would-be game-winning goal in the net in the 60th minute thanks Ridwane Boukraa who put a ball in the top right corner on a free-kick, putting the Matadors back in front, 3-2.
The Matadors will wait to see who and when they will play on Friday in the national semi-finals in Tyler, Texas.
