Oliver Assists Twice as Mats Hang 5 for 5th Win

YUMA, Ariz---Sam Oliver delivered two second half assists as the #16 Arizona Western Matadors (5-0-0 overall) used a 5-0 shutout of the Mesa Thunderbirds (0-4-0 overall) to pick up win number five on the year Tuesday night at the Matador Soccer Field.

Romaric Berneron's goal in the 27th broke up a scoreless affair before Lachlan Brooks added goal number two just eleven minutes later.

Matadors Route Chandler-Gilbert for Road Win

GILBERT, Ariz---A narrow margin at halftime, looked a lot different by the end of the match as the Arizona Western Matadors (4-0-0 overall) scored seven second half goals to knock down the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes  (0-1-0 overall) Saturday night.

Michele Signorelli scored both of the Matadors goals before halftime but AWC couldn't seem to add much more separation before the break.

Appiah's Goal Keeps Mats Unbeaten

PHOENIX, ARIZ---While it always seems to be an instant classic any time the two teams lock up, the Arizona Western Matadors (3-0-0 overall) remained unbeaten in non-conference action, slogging through the pouring rain in double-overtime before Michael Appiah notched the golden goal to beat Phoenix College (0-2-0 overall) 4-3 Tuesday night at Hogan Field.

Mats Continue to Score in Bunches with Route of Glendale

YUMA, Ariz---While the early going seemed tough, the Arizona Western Matadors (2-0-0 overall) pulled away towards the end of the first half in a 7-0 win over the Glendale Gauchos Saturday evening at The Matador Soccer Field in non-conference action.

Michele Signorelli and Nozomu Kamei each found the net twice, and Michael Appiah's two assists in the win.
