PHOENIX, Ariz---Three goals equated to the third straight ACCAC win for the Arizona Western Matadors (4-1 overall, 3-0 ACCAC) as they knocked off the Phoenix College Bears (2-1 overall, 2-1 ACCAC) Saturday evening.
Michele Signorelli, Michael Appiah and Hugo Catherine all delivered goals in the Matadors victory Saturday night.
Gianni Honsel and Atsuki Sato combined for the third straight clean sheet for Arizona Western.

Pitocchi Nets the Difference in Win Over CGCC

YUMA, Ariz---Leonardo Pitocchi' 41st minute finish on a cross from Romaric Berneron set the Arizona Western Matadors (3-1 overall, 2-0 ACCAC) to a 1-0 lead they would not relinquish against the Chandler-Gilbert Coyotes (1-1 overall, 1-1 ACCAC) Thursday night.
The Matadors had a majority of the chances with the Coyotes seldom even breaking through the backline of the AWC defense.

Offensive Onslaught Nets Conference Opening Win

GLENDALE, Ariz--Eight different Matadors combined for nine total goals as the #10 Arizona Western Matadors (2-1 overall, 1-0 ACCAC) delivered a 9-0 route of the Glendale Gauchos (0-1 overall, 0-1 ACCAC) Saturday afternoon in the conference opener.
Michael Adeyeye was the only Matador to strike twice, giving him three goals on the season, leading the Arizona Western offense.
Michele Signorelli added his team leading fourth goal of the season.

Late Goal Blemishes AWC

HENDERSON, NV--A quick response in the final stages spelled doom for the #10 Arizona Western Matadors (1-1 overall) in a 3-2 loss Friday afternoon to the #18 Snow College Badgers.
Snow had two separate leads, striking on corner kicks right after the water break in each half, but Arizona Western found a way to level the match each time.
Nozomu Kamei's curled a beautiful shot into the top corner in the 60th minute to finally pull even at one goal a piece.

HENDERSON, Nev---Michele Signorelli picked up right where he left off, scoring goals in bunches, as the #10 Arizona Western Matadors (1-0 overall) ended up fighting off the Southern Nevada Coyotes (0-1 overall) in an overtime thriller Thursday afternoon.
Signorelli struck first with a pair of goals, once of a penalty, to give the Matadors an early 2-0 lead at the half.
