    YUMA, Ariz. – In an exhausting double overtime match on Thursday night, the Arizona Western College women’s soccer team tied Scottsdale 1-1. This was the first time all season that the Lady Mats (11-5-1 overall, 11-5-1 Arizona Community College Athletic Conference) had been to overtime.

    YUMA, Ariz. – Some nights just don’t go your way. The 20th ranked Arizona Western College women’s soccer team outshot Mesa Community College 17-5 but wound up on the wrong side of the scoreboard. The Lady Mats lost 1-0 on Thursday night in Yuma.

    White-Knuckle Win

    YUMA, Ariz. – Cinthya Samaniego came through in the clutch for the 20th ranked Arizona Western College women’s soccer team on Tuesday night. Her goal in the 76th minute was a thing of beauty and capped a strong second half for the Lady Mats against Chandler-Gilbert in a 1-0 win.
